Abstract:
The study included 104 specialists in speech and language pathology, who
answered questions related to the use of educational computer games in work with children
with special educational needs. In the group of specialists, 69% responded that they have used
educational computer games in their practice for assessment and diagnostics, therapy and/or
time off and time filling between the sessions. The speech and language therapist pointed out
the highest effect of the use of educational computer games new knowledge acquisition,
followed by skills acquisition and increased motivation for learning.
