Abstract:
The paper presents three different approaches of web service assessment based on
metrics data of their qualitative features. The advantages and drawbacks of the approaches
are analyzed for the purposes of service selection. The investigation of assessment results of
real time data of two meteorological forecasting services are considered as a solid base to
reveal ready-made solutions for a reliable decision support tool.
