Abstract:
In recent years have seen an increase in the level of importance in the gathering and
analysing of data related to the training. The new educational system/ paradigm has seen some
challenges in regards to providing best quality education through the use of learning analytics.
Even though this area of study is still to be explored and emphasized, it is nonetheless the key
driver for the aforementioned study. The paper proposes a review of basic research in this field
within the study that will provide models, methods and software tools for learning analytics in
order to improve the learning outcomes of higher education.
