Abstract:
The report presents the importance of working on joint research projects for the conservation of cultural and historical heritage through the use of modern information and communication technologies. The issue is of national priority and has a significant place in the European integration process. I offer a brief description of several projects that the BAS Scientific Archive has worked on, but I elaborate on the latest academic archive project related to Bulgaria's participation in the wars for national unification in the early 20th century. The proposed scientific problems are of great interest not only among the Bulgarian scientific community, but also in the broad European context, increase the possibilities for future interdisciplinary studies. This is the contribution of the Academic Archive to the cultural diversity of Europe and the world in historical and contemporary terms.

Докладът представя значението на работата по съвместни изследователски проекти за опазване на културно-историческото наследство чрез използване на съвременни информационни и комуникационни технологии. Проблематиката е с национален приоритет и заема съществено място в европейския интеграционен процес. Предлага се кратко описание на няколко проекта, по които е работил Научния архив на БАН, но авторът се спира подробно на последния проект на академичния архив, свързан с участието на България във войните за национално обединение в началото на 20. век. Предложената научна проблематика предизвиква сериозен интерес не само сред българската научна колегия, но и в широк европейски контекст увеличава възможностите за бъдещи интердисциплинарни проучвания. Това е приносът на академичния архив към културното разнообразие на Европа и света в исторически и съвременен план.
