Abstract: This study examines four types of learning strategies, used by the students in the field of engineering and technology. The most commonly used strategies in the engineering courses were obtained using a questionnaire. After a statistical breakdown of the answers, groups of “similar” activities were formed, allowing characterizing the particular models of learning strategies with the means of cluster and correlation analysis.
