Abstract: Spectral finite difference scheme is applied to two-dimensional natural laminar convection around a three-fins type enclosure, including a shape control parameter supplemented with a condition of doublyconnectedness. Streamlines, characteristics for the maximum stream function and the mean Nusselt number against a Grashof number are presented. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 30C20, 65N06, 76R10.
